Julianne Moore

Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore is a Hollywood writer and actor who's talent has brought her recognition and critical acclaim. Sagittarius. Born in North Carolina, on 3rd December, 1960. She's one of the three children of Peter Moore Smith and Anne Smith. Peter was a parachutist. The Moore family is English, Scottish and of mixed heritage. In the course of her father's employment, the Moore family often relocated and she was unable to form friendships, or to keep ones. Moore's family relocated from the United States to Germany and she went to Frankfurt American High School, in which her first roles included in productions. It was at Boston University is where Moore finished her education, earning an B.F.A. in 1983. in Theater. Moore made the move to New York after graduating and began her career with off-broadway stage. In 1985 she made her television debut on The Edge of Night. The following year, she took on in the roles of Frannie and Sabrina Hughes in As the World Turns which became her first break. This show lasted until 1988 when she was awarded the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990, she made a debut in the cinema world through Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. Short Cuts, both produced by Robert Altman (1993), and 3 Women, also productions by Altman (1997) included among her movies. Moore received numerous nominations and received praise for her first film. Her first lead role came in Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg, who was director for Jurassic Park: The Lost World in 1997 and one of the highest earning films, chose Moore as a lead actor. In 1999 she starred in the critically-acclaimed Magnolia and earned an SAG award for her role. The Hours starred Moore in 2002 and was nominated by nine Academy Awards along with Nicole Kidman. Moore has also appeared in The Forgotten 2004, Freedomland, Shelter and Shelter 2010. Non-Stop the film in which that she starred in, was released. Moore has appeared in many television shows and movies. The most recent of her starring roles is In 2022: When You Finish Securing the World. She has established her career in Hollywood as well as being a bestselling author of children's books. The first book she published was Freckleface Strawberry in 2007 and became a N.Y.T. best-seller resulting in the adaptation into a novel and musical. Also in 2013, Moore published My Mother Is a Stranger. Moore's personal life has been disclosed as she's a successful author and actress. She was a bridesmaid to John Robin from 1984 until 1995. Bart Freundlich is the father of two children. Moore's entire life revolves around her children, friends, and profession.
