Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast was once a part of both the Fierce Five 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. In 2012 the team, she won gold at the team events as well as the floor exercises. On the balance beam, Raisman earned a bronze. She was one of the few American to earn the most medals at an Olympics. In the 2016, Olympics she took home a gold medal at the team event, which gave her and her teammate Gabby Douglas the honour of being the first Americans to earn back-to-back teams gold medals. Furthermore, she was awarded two silver medals for her floor exercise and the all-around individual. She took a three-year break between each Olympics from gymnastics competition. In addition, she was part of the gold-winning American team at the two World Championships. Gymnastics was her first sport of choice at the age of two and her favourite event is flooring exercise. Aly is an active member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in honour of her grandmother who passed away from cancer. Aly hopes to achieve a prosperous career in the fashion industry. Her distinctive leotards as well as socks, and other clothing are expected to be expanded in the near future. She's currently writing a novel entitled Fierce that will be released in the coming months.
